Vintage Venus by Cortland Open Bottom Girdle w\ hooks zipper & 4 garters Size 42
Vintage open bottom girdle from Venus by Cortland. Girdle shows as a size 42 on the label and is a cream color. Girdle has 4 garter straps which are removeable, all present and made with metal and a double panel tummy for extra firm support. The tummy panels are embroidered with a floral pattern and the back has a satiny gloss finish. Girdle has 4 hook and eyelet fasteners which are covered by a zipper with a pull attached for ease of use.
Elastic waist is 2.5 inches thick and the front of the girdle has two bone supports that are 3 inches long and two in the back and one on the right side that are 6 inches long. The zipper and hook and eyelets are on the left side.Lying flat, the measurements are as follows: waist is 20 inches wide, in the middle the height from top of waist to bottom is 17 inches, and on the sides it is 19 inches and is curved for the hips. Widest point from hip to hip is 21.5 inches and at the bottom of the garment it is 20.5 inches.
