SCULPTING SATIN PANELED Vintage HIGHWAIST Open Bottom SHAPER GIRDLE XXXXL
Sculpting late 1950s / early 1960s vintage open bottom shapewear girdle was constructed of a nylon/spandex blend powernet with glossy sleek nylon blend satin panels. The highwaisted girdle features a fitted elasticized waist with a side metal zipper opening (backed with interior hook & eye fastens), surrounding boning, a lace accented tummy control panel, sleek hip contouring panels, a an embroidered satin tummy control panel, sleek satin hip & rear contouring panels, glossy satiny rear contouring panel and six metal garters around the open bottom.
Waist fits 36 - 39 inches and the girdle is 14.5 inches in length (exclusive of the garters). The girdle has obviously been dyed at some point. The metal garters look like vintage replacements. And there are a couple of tiny pulls in the nylon powernet.Not a perfect piece but still a beautiful shaper. Overall, good to very good condition. Vintage HIGHWAIST Open Bottom SHAPER GIRDLE - XXXXL.
